River Lodge RV Resort is ideally located on Florida’s Nature Coast, an area full of natural beauty, where manatee herds escape the cool Gulf waters in the winter and head up the Withlacoochee and Homosassa rivers to calve in pristine springs.  Nearby is the 47-mile long Withlacoochee Trail where hiking, biking, and horseback riding and several beautiful State Parks offer recreation for all ages.  Just north up the coast is Cedar Key, renowned for its antiques, art galleries and great weekend escapes with fine lodging and entertainment.

Some of the finest golf courses in the state can be found right here such as World Woods, the Plantation, El Diablo and Black Diamond.  Some of the best fresh and saltwater fishing in Florida is located just minutes away, many with public boat launches and docks.  There’s a selection of restaurants close by including fantastic local Seafood, Greek, Mexican, Italian, American, Asian, and more.

The International Mall in Tampa and The Tampa Bay Airport is an easy jaunt down the Suncoast Parkway.  Should an emergency arise, Seven Rivers Medical Center is conveniently located just minutes south.

Don’t forget all the Central Florida theme parks such as Busch Gardens, Disney World, SeaWorld, and Universal Studios are close enough to drive to, be entertained for the day, and return to your own peaceful resort.
